What kind of services do you offer?
As a state certified therapist my services include individual and group therapy, couples and marriage counseling. I specialize in working with women’s issues: addictions such as drugs, alcohol, sex: and codependency.
Who uses your services?
People like you. They might be your neighbors, friends or co-workers. Just about everyone needs help at one time or another to meet life’s challenges. Sometimes it takes a caring, neutral person trained to help you find the resources within yourself and the community to put your life back together or make it more satisfying.
What can I expect from therapy?
You can expect to be treated with respect and compassion in a warm, confidential, validating and private environment. Your sessions will be completely confidential. Together we will begin to develop plans to work through challenges, to find solutions and help you develop the necessary resources within yourself and the community to accomplish your goals.
How often do I need to come to therapy?
After an evaluation period we will discuss how many times a week will be best for you. I will work with you from once a week to three times a week depending on your needs.
Do you see people every other week?
I rarely meet with people less than once a week. One of the major components of the healing power of psychotherapy is its dependability. I have found that less than once a week is not as effective.
Do you accept insurance?
I am a Blue Cross Blue Shield cost wise provider. I have not signed up with any panels. Many plans have an out-of -net work provision which will cover my services. You may not know about this benefit until you ask..
